ShiftHero Wakefield are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers to work with our valued client based in Wakefield. This role involves delivering beds and mattresses to retail stores across the UK; it would suit an individual that is looking to travel distance and wants longer hours Once you have an approved account, you will have access to all work relevant to your skills in your area.

We are looking for individuals that are punctual, hard working and an all round #ShiftHero. By registering and opening your account, you will have the opportunity work for a wide range of clients, across different sectors, meaning your work will be varied.

Role details:

• You will start around 6am (Monday – Friday).
• This is a multi-drop role, delivering beds and mattresses to retail outlets across the UK.
• There are opportunities to travel longer distances and tramp in the vehicle (fully expensed).
• You are not expected to fully unload the vehicle independently, however, you will be required to push and slide stock to the rear of the vehicle for collection.
• You’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety of the load and vehicle.
• You’ll complete your daily vehicle walk around check.
• You’ll represent the company and provide great customer service.
